Why should I care what you think?

James knew he broke her after telling her those words. He could see it in her face. He was disgusted with himself. He watched her start to get up, she wasn't crying anymore. He made her cry to the point where she couldn't even cry anymore. " Are you happy with yourself? " He shook his head and peaked down. All he wanted to do now was drink, drink until he couldn't do it anymore.
He felt her walk to him, stopping beside him. He peaked at her, seeing she wasn't even looking at him anymore. He didn't blame her though. her heart was broken. He peaked back down and felt as she started to walk away. He didn't know what to do. Should he stay or should he leave for a couple more hours. He knew she didn't want him around or at least he thought she didn't.
He peaked back at her, watching her standing at the door. They were happy once. They were inseparable and now here they are, broken. He watched her, deciding to stay at home and go to sleep in the guest room. It was for the best, for she would just get more emotional and he wanted her to calm down. She needed to, for that was what the doctor said in the first place. He walked slowly over to her and gently hugged her from behind, whispering, " I'm sorry, Jenny. " He let go immediately. He knew she didn't want him near her. He started to walk upstairs, going to the guest room. He shut the door behind him and just stood there, leaning his head against the door. All he wanted was to be alone, he couldn't even look at himself.

The moment she felt James wrap his arms around her, was the moment Jenny's heart finally shattered. He whispered his sorry to her before walking away from her. She turned to stop him, but she was far too slow. By the time she had turned around, he had already closed the door to the guest room. Her eyes stared at the closed door as her hand slowly dropped to her side. A few tears left her eyes and she stood there in silence. She then looked away from the door and turned back to walk into their room.
Jenny closed the door behind her. Her hands were still on the door knob when she leaned her back against the door. Her eyes closed as she double breathed once more and slowly sank to the floor. Her hands letting go of the knob when she did. And there she sat for a couple of hours, frozen in place as she just stared at the window she was looking out of earlier.
It wasn't until it was five in the morning that she got up from her spot and laid in the bed. Her eyes stared at the sheets before she finally closed them. She gently cried herself to sleep.
