John smirked, ah the work of a lawyer; All hustle and bustle for him, he didn't get a chance to screw Eliza today! Yup, his day didn't go like it's usual self. Since his clients were driving him bonkers, one was repeatedly repeating himself, another one didn't come to the bar they were suppose to be at and John really wanted to kill both of them, the only reason he didn't was because, Ching ching! Money! All that cash, and in no way was he going to let it go to one of his other colleagues who were technically beneath him when it came to the court. But they were more 'Morally - upright' he gave them that, but all he needed was too chill out.
And no other place than the Crown Jewel; a place to drink and mingle, and John felt like socializing, but at the back of his mind, something that Korso did in the past was bothering him, a man got shot just for stealing some cash, but what made it worse was that the man was below the poverty line. And was just trying to feed his family! Fuck Korso! Fuck all the stupid laws and antics! Just Fu- John sighed, as his mind got stopped from thinking for a moment as the waitress asked for his order, and John just sighed saying, "Cherry liquor with extra ice." He wasn't in the mood for flirting after all that shit, so he just sat alone on the sofa as the drink was delivered to his table, he just let out a sigh as he took out one of the straws from the straw box in front of him and just stirred the ice that was in the liquor in circles. As he looked down, rather upset and in distress.

Miguel entered to the place with a single thought in his mind: drink as much tequila as he could afford. With the restaurant becoming more popular in the city he had found himself drowning in work so it wasn't often the night he could take off. He touched the wallet on his left pocket, making sure it was still in it's place. Suddenly he noticed a man sitting on his own over his favorite spot. The blonde man looked familiar but he couldn't spot from where. A smirk appeared on his face: "Well, let's figure it out."
As he walked toards the sofa a waitress approached him and he used the opportunity to order the tequila. "Hello." He said as he sat in front of the man. "It seems not only me is fond to this sofa." He waited for the man to answer but suddenly the shots came. He smiled at the girl and then offered one of the small glasses. "Do you like tequila?"

John was a little bit stuck in his thought on how much he secretly despised Korso, especially after what he's done to Gatsberry. John looked down at his drink not noticing the other blonde male at first until he heard him say:
"Hello."
Which caused John to look up at the blonde male, John gave a slight chuckle. The man seemed awfully nice, or that was the essence and he would've been the perfect manipulation victim in most cases, but after today he just wanted to be more 'genuine' and less like a manipulative sociopath. Than as the male talked about the sofa, being his favorite. John smiled warmly as he took a sip of liquor from his straw. "I guess this sofa must be the best this place has got than." It seemed like their were people who liked the specific sofa, so he guessed it was the best. Atleast he applauded himself for the good choice in seating! Than as the male said:
"Do you like tequila?"
John's smiled widened slightly as he gave a content sigh, and gave an expression that said 'a bit' but than agin, most men weren't the best at understanding not so obvious body language so John said "Depends, do you like liquor?" John said as a retracting question.

"Who doesn't?" Miguel leaned back and stretched his sore arms. He had worked for almost 18 hours and his body was exhausted but still he enjoyed the nocturnal life of the city. "I mean, in this city is mandatory to have something strong once in a while." Taking a close look at the man he finally realized he didn't actually know the man. What the hell, he liked meeting new people. "By the way, the name is Miguel." He took his own glass and drank the whole drink.
The man before him seemed to be inspecting him which wasn't weird for him. Most people did that the first time they met him; he wasn't like normal city people, he rarely had hidden motives behind his actions and people were always expecting the opposite. But he wasn't dumb, or at least he liked to think that.

John was the night kind of man, he liked the night and that's when everyone showed their 'True - Colours', John gave a more wider smirk, sipping his drink as he eyed the male. Than put his drink on the table, "I guess that would only make sense here." This place was like some party lovers dream since Korso didn't have other priorities, apparently. Than as the male said:
"By the way, the name is Miguel."
John smirked, Spanish ey? His mind thought teasingly, he always found men and women from Spain to be wonderful lovers, his head thought jokingly. Since he lost count of how many people he's screwed with, "John Diveriõ, pleasure to meet your acquaintance Miguel." John sat up, looking like his more prim and proper self since his mood got a bit better, and gently leaned his hand forward for a handshake. John technically lived with the rich and 'proper' so it only me ade sense that he had their mannerisms.

Miguel took his hand. "A strong handshake: that says a lot about a man." He could see that the man was between relaxed and cautious, still analyzing him. "I actually came here because I thought I knew you." He took the glass between his hands and started playing with it. "But now I'm doubting it. Not many "high-class-men" come around my businness." He frowned a little bit, trying to read beyond the man's smile. "And I can't picture a man like you paying less than $10 for a good lunch."

John shook his hand, giving a slight nod. And he leaned back, getting more relaxed as he sipped a bit of his drink as the male talked, and John gave him a soft gaze. How adorable~! The man was awfully cute, atleast in his personal opinion. He chuckled when the male said that 'high - class - men' don't come around often and John grinned, "I just did." John said with a sincere smile and thought to himself, touché. Considering the male was talking about men not coming around and poof! Their was one! Coincidentally, John gave an amused smirk as the male talked about him not paying a mere 10$ for a nice lunch, and John chuckled as he sipped a bit more of the liquor. Than as he finished he put the glass down and looked at the male amused as he stroked his chin teasingly than smirked at him or at her grinned, "I think we ALL enjoy the simple pleasure's in life, walking by the park, looking at the sunset, having casual conversations." John chuckled and leaned back, eyeing the male carefully but still dpseemed laid back.

"This isn't my business if that's what you are thinking." Miguel laughed as he realized he had confused John. He had noticed the man had been growing more and more comfortable with him. He liked when people did that around him. Everyone seemed so anxious and on the edge lately he enjoyed being a a cool environment once in a while.
"Yeah, I share your opinion about the conversation. i think I wouldn't manage to go through a day without having a nice conversation with someone." Suddenly he paused. A negative thought came through his mind. "Well, I would if the company wasn't of my liking."

John chuckled,"I know." John took out a cigar and started to take a few puffs as he looked at the male in the eye, but still leaned back. He knew Gaston and Sara runner this place, he was sure the male meant company per say, or rather spending time to say the least.
John chuckled, that was the story of his life, be all sweet and nice to people who were annoying or that wasn't to his likening. Even if they were being nice, didn't mean he had to like them. Oh the perks of being a lawyer, or rather the annoying part of the job. Atleast the 'good' out shined the bad, in this place what was good? What was bad? John sighed for a moment, "My life in a nutshell." John puffed out a bit more smoke and smiled saying, "So, what do you think of Gatsberry?"

Miguel thought about it for a minute. How to explain everything? This city was his home, true, but the way it had turned. "I used to like it more before. You know, before it became a something-like monarchy." He looked around trying to find the right words. He had assumed this man was worth trusting by he had to be cautious. "I dont like crime so I don't get involve with it. I don't like how the city works lately but I try to keep my distance." The waitress came around and Miguel ordered a second round without asking John. "What about you?"

John started smirking as the male elaborated on his thoughts about the 'not - so - democratic' party state, or that was what John would call it, that was actually the sweetest thing he'd say because he was tempted to call it a ''fucked up piece of hell that put's partying and sex over legitimate institutions and betterment.'' Yes, that was harsh but it really was the place in Johns eyes.
"I used to like it more before. You know, before it became a something-like monarchy."
John kept a warm hearted grin on his face, but his eyebrow raised. "Glad to see someone thinks like that, after all I thought America was founded on the basis of being a free, capitalist society that made freedom and liberty one of it's main motto's and priorities." John chuckled and ordered some whiskey to calm his nerves, he gave a somewhat light smirk at the male as he lit a cigar. But alas they had a brutal leader that John used to call, Friend.
John had to chuckle at the male as he claimed he didn't know how the place worked, which was understandable since Korso was spontaneous, even though John found him predictable. "The placed laws and politics are a mess, trust me; I know." John worked as a lawyer after all, so he'd have a good idea about laws and what lackluster political fiasco the place pretended to put up, to create the illusion of well placed laws for the citizens benefits and justice. When in actuality, Korso couldn't explain the word even if he tried.

The man, unlike a lot of people around the city, seemed to be able to put in words everything that came into his mind, even if it ended sounding so complicated. He saw the man lit his cigar after ordering a little more to drink and wondered was more was behind those elaborated sentences. He guessed the man was judging every single thing he said and yet, Miguel wasn´t able to truly read his new friend. How intriguing.
"The placed laws and politics are a mess, trust me; I know." Miguel smiled as he heard the last part.
“So you know, huh?” he said finally catching something a little more personal about the man. “Let me guess. You are either a politician, a policeman or a lawyer.” He considered a fourth option. Who better would know the rules of the game if it wasn´t someone that was constantly breaking them? But even if he was part of something illegal he wasn´t expecting John to casually say it. No. This kind of things were never said out loud and if you did, you were risking your head for nothing. So he decided to leave the answer open to second interpretations. After all, politicians, policemen and lawyers could also be on Korso´s side. It wasn´t impossible. He leaned back as the waitress brought their new drinks. This was getting interesting but he decided to leave one foot on the side of the chair in case he needed to run off or jump away from bullet. He was aware he was prying but he was too curious and he was enjoying the curse this conversation was taking.

“Let me guess. You are either a politician, a policeman or a lawyer.”
John gave an amused smirk when the male side that, he just moved the cigar downwards and said with a teasing smile that creeped up on him, "Lawyer," one of the best around per say, as for politicians, what were they for again? The place was like some monarchy. He missed the days when people were picked based on Merit, not rich money. That's what sparked the fight for American "Freedom" and the French revolution. So many things, but alas that seemed to go to waste as Korso took the role of being in charge.
John looked down, as the male seemingly put his foot on the edge of the chair. Was he trying to run away, John didn't carry any gun, only a dagger and pepper spray, just in case. John just smirked, resting his hand on the chair and resting his head on top of that as he sided his body to face the male who seemed seemingly cautios and curious, the most interesting swell of emotions to feel. "Also about politians, they're worthless. And as for Korso, he only got this place from the money. Not actual knowledge about politics or law, what a pity." He let out another puff of smoke as he looked at him, giving a casually menacing smirk.

Hearing him talk about Korso made him a little uneasy. It seemed the man knew Korso and that made him uncomfortable. Not a lot of people around the man's were trust worthy but he knew life's meant taking risks. He could count John as such. So far he had acted like sane human being and it seemed he wasn't enjoying the talk just as much as he was. He ended up his drinks and decided to call it a night. He had work to do and he needed to think how he was going to approach John. He liked talking to him but somehow he wasn't not interested in getting involved with the other man.
"Well, this conversation is heading to dark places and I don't think is good to be talking about the "Big Man" with such carefree." He smiled in a attempt to ease up the sudden end of conversation. "But this was fun. If you ever want to repeat this I'm free almost every night after closing up. You can go around my restaurant or my place. I'm always up for company."
