*This thread takes place after the events of "Moonlit Conspiracy (18+)" in the Closed Brewery Thread*
Don Korso only takes a day off from work on three occasions, but today was not one of them, such is the reason why he has an office room in his headquarters, the Moonlight Lounge, and even his home. As usual, it was a busy morning that required several phone calls to city officials, including the "Mayor," his puppet.
"Well if these weather reports are true then ya better start preparin', dont'cha think?" asked an aggravated Korso. "...Uh-huh...yeah...or how 'bout ya quit thinkin' 'bout yer dick for once an' get yer lazy ass to work." He paused. "Is that Sapphire I hear in the background? ...Uh-huh...well if ya wanna keep playin' with my best girls then ya better...yeah, pronto!"
He slammed the gold-plated phone down onto the receiver, right as a knock came at the door.
"What now!?" he hollered as the door cracked open, but to his surprise, it was his future predecessor, Dante, and his youngest daughter, Aria, both with tired and worried expressions. Anytime he saw Aria following behind one of his men he knew it meant she was up to no good. "What now?" he asked in her direction, but then noticed the tears forming in her eyes. Her white dress even had blood stains sprinkled all over it.
Korso didn't even take a second to register it all. His hate filled eyes were immediately on Dante.
Both hands slammed the table as he stood up. "The fuck did you do to my little girl!" he screamed through his teeth.
Dante defensively threw his hands up and began to explain: Late last night they were Industrial District to have drinks at an all-night cafe, it was Aria's request, and Dante being her chauffeur had to comply. According to Aria, she snuck out of Dante's sight while he was in the restroom to get some fresh air outside where she was approached by a drug dealer, two muscular men, and their leader, Don Azul. The men apparently harassed her for not wanting to buy any "bluemoon" and insisted on taking her with them. Thankfully, Dante caught them in the act as they were dragging her down a nearby alley, and brought "justice" down onto the two henchmen, but that left the dealer and his boss to escape.
(In truth, they omitted a lot of the more nastier details to avoid Korso's wrath; it'd be a secret between the two of them for now.)
Throughout the report, Korso's expression went from slightly shocked to intense pondering.
"It's getting worse," said Korso under his breath, his eyes darting between the papers on his desk before turning to Dante. "You sure this Azul guy's the leader?"
Dante nodded, basing his assumption on what Aria had told him in private.
The Don stroked his neck and pondered some more. A family picture of him and his two daughters returned his attention to Aria; his own daughter, targeted by this vile group. He made his way to her and embraced her in a comforting hug. "You 'ight baby girl?" he asked as he kissed her cheek and rubbed her upper back. "Yer a tough one though, yer a Marcello after all, right?"
His attention went back to Dante.
"I trust that the bodies are out of the public eye?" he asked in a proud manner as if he was impressed with Dante's actions.

I may be the youngest Marcello, but I'm the most stubborn.

Aria was holding on Dante's hand tightly when it was time to go tell her Dad what happened. She even pulled Dante back a little as she started to feel anxiety. She was doubting herself and was thinking Korso would see right through their story. She looked down at her wrists which were bruised from the leather straps that were tightly tied around them. She still had her white dress, but the only difference was that she had undergarments back on. And she no longer felt wet from what happened, thanks to Dante.
But Dante was able to soothe her down just enough to knock on Korso's door and open it. Aria immediately jumped and cowered when her Dad yelled before they opened the door. Before she cowered more when he seemed irritated. Tears formed in her eyes as she saw her Father look straight at her. Her heart seemed to break as everything Dante told her not to think about came back into her mind.
Suddenly Korso slammed both of his hands on the table before standing up. "The fuck did you do to my little girl!" He screamed, causing Aria to immediately grab Dante's shoulder and cower behind him. Dante then raised his hands and explained what happened. The modified story caused Aria to cringe before she felt herself start to cry again. Her body started to shake as she was reliving what happened in her head. Every time she heard a modified line, the real scene popped into her head.
It wasn't until she heard her Dad mutter under his breath that it was getting worse. He then asked Dante if Azul was the leader, which made Aria nod her head along with Dante.
But when she saw her Dad look straight at her, she cowered once more. She even backed up a little when he walked to her. But when he hugged her, she felt herself tense as more tears filled up her eyes. She immediately hugged her father back, pretty much gripping the back of his suit tightly. As if she was holding onto dear life. He kissed her cheek and rubbed her back before telling her she was a tough one. She nodded her head as she felt herself cry into his shoulder.
"I was so scared, Daddy..." Aria said, using the nickname she barely used for him nowadays. Korso's attention then went back to Dante and he asked if the bodies were out of the public eye. Aria looked back at Dante before she went back to hugging her Dad a little more. It was clear to both of these men how scared she was.

I might be young, but that doesn't make me less qualified.

"I trust that the bodies are out of the public eye?" Korso asked in a proud manner as if he was impressed with Dante's actions.
Dante affirmed his suspicions, stating that the bodies were stashed in the old brewery, but probably needed to be "picked up." The Don was pleased by his response, but no one could be more happier than Dante, who dreaded Korso's response to the news.
He was willing to knock me out for the just the sight of bloodstains on Aria's dress! Me, his right-hand man! thought Dante. He could only imagine what would've happened had he found out the truth: that Aria was more than just "dragged away." That she was actually, for a short time, Azul's prisoner? That he had even laid his hands upon her? What about what Azul's men did to her? The thoughts made Dante furious and bloodthirsty for revenge but knew it would only pale in comparison to Korso's wrath.
The "alternative" story he and Aria agreed upon seemed to have work. Korso seemed both troubled by the event, but also compassionate enough to give Aria the attention she deserved.
"I'm glad to you're safe and sound now, Bambi," said Dante to Aria with a warm smile that may have drawn a questionable response from Korso, who still remained in the dark about their "close" relationship.
