Asami had been running an errand for Cruella when the storm barreled in. She ran for the first building with cover - the abandoned textile mill. She knew her boss would be cross Asami didn't get back before the storm, but there hadn't been a cab in sight, not like she would hail one down anyways, not with the cost. She found herself inside the mill, breathing heavily but luckily not too wet. If she ruined the clothes Cruella just got her she might as well as go walk out in the hurricane and hoped she got crushed by something. A damned if she did, a damned if she didn't situation.
Still, she smoothed her wet hair out of her face, pulling it back into a soggy ponytail to keep it out of her eyes. It seemed she would get to know the textile mill until things blew over. She only hoped the building could hold up during the storm. She looked around the room, large machines and glass windows high above that rattled as the wind whipped about outside. The mill wasn't a very welcoming place to be during the storm. And here she was caught without provisions - just the clothes on her back. Her home would be safe. She had boarded up the windows and carefully moved her things to more waterproof areas.

Cale had rolled his eyes with irritation when Vanessa had sent him out for new clothes for J&T. He knew they needed new ones but really getting them now seemed a little silly but Vanessa was determined if nothing else. When she made a plan she stuck to it and heaven help those that tried to stop her.
When the wind and rain started up Cale had already been in the textile mill. They had ordered their new linens weeks ago and paid before had so even though the Mill was closed right now because of the storm their things were already there. He had been getting ready to leave when it was like the sky had opened and the down pour had started. He was really glad Vanessa had ordered him to put the hard cover top up on the car before he left. At least the car would be ok and hopefully after he let the storm ease a bit he might be able to get to the car and get back to Jive and Thrive. He had backed up from the door and a few moments latter young woman with long dark hair came in soaking wet.
"Are you alright?" Cale asked kindly. As he approached her still holding the bags with the linens he was sent to get in his hands.

Nikki walked into the textile mill soaking wet. She sighed and quickly braided her hair before putting it behind her back, keeping it out of her face. She then grabbed a towel that someone was giving out. She then quickly dried herself off. It didn't help much as she was still pretty wet, but she didn't feel like a wet dog anymore, so it would do. Her blue eyes scanned the area, not many people were here. It was just a few workers along with a blonde haired man talking to a brunette woman. She then looked at one of the workers who immediately recognized her and ran to get her order. This made her narrow her eyes in confusion, before she realized what the woman was doing.
"Crap," Nikki said before she went to the counter and got the money. The worker came and immediately gave her order of clothes and fabrics. "You could have waited until after the hurricane, but thank you," Nikki said before she paid the girl. The girl then neatly packed her order before stashing it in a suitcase so it wouldn't get damaged. She then gave it to Nikki who immediately took it. Nikki was tempted to change right then and there, but she didn't want to ruin her new clothes. So with a sigh she walked somewhere and took off her jacket. Once off she laid it on a bench before placing the suitcase there as well.
"Well, never wearing that jacket again," Nikki spoke to herself before she finally got herself situated. Once she was all sorted she stretched and looked at where she was. It was clear she was going to be here for a while due to the storm. Which frustrated her, but she needed to be patient.

It would appear she was not the only one who had run inside to avoid the gale outside. Asami offered the man a smile. He must have been inside before the weather turned foul or had got in before it had really picked up. Either way, it wasn't a bad place to wait out the storm, just not her first choice. It was what it was and there would be no changing that. They just had to wait things out where it was safe, which was a lot better off than some unfortunate soul might be.
"I'll be fine. Thank you." she assured him. "But the storm picked up."
They all knew the storm had been coming. Boarding up windows, hiding valuables from looters and preparing supplies. Asami just wouldn't be using hers until after the storm. She squeezed her jacket sleeves to wring out the water that might have been trapped. Not like she could take it off. She had a wet shirt underneath and propriety was the only thing she had left these days.

Cale watched as a lovely blonde woman came in. He listened as she complained about not being able to wear the jacket again and he could see why living so closely with a woman let Cale have a bit more understanding of clothing then most men his age did and she had had a nice jacket.
Cale then came up with an idea. "I don't want to impose but I have a car not far from here that's covered. If we wait a while for the storm to ease I can drive you ladies back into town. I'd prefer to go to Jive and Thrive and hunker down there and you ladies are welcome to come if you like?" He offered. Right after he finished speaking the lightning flashed, the thunder crashed, and the wind howled. "Although I think it might be prudent if we wait till the storm eases at least little." He commented feeling slightly concerned.

"That... would be really nice of you," Asami said.
She was mildly surprised by the offer. Some part of her wondered if she shouldn't be more concerned that a stranger was willing to take her back into town. There was always a catch for someone doing something nice, wasn't there? Except this man honestly seemed to want to get back into town. She supposed the sooner she fetched the things that Cruella sent her for, the sooner she could go home.
She was already missing her home already, even though she hadn't been gone long and it wasn't on the best side of town. For now, it was home. For now, it was all she had to her own name. She shook away those thoughts and offered the man a smile. Maybe there was a little good luck coming her way after all, even if it was just a ride back into town. It sure beat walking.
"I suppose since we're going to be here for a little while, we should introduce ourselves. I'm Asami." she said politely.
